ANY TEACHERS THAT WORK IN NY?
If so can you help answer my question if possible....
If you move from to a different borough and report it to the school -- is it mandatory to move your child to a closer school or your zoned school or can your child remain where they are?

no the child can stay however its up to you to get the child to school on time. the school will not bus them.

Nope, they can stay at their former school. My school in the Bronx has had kids from Manhattan in the past. And with the exception of the special ed kids, all our kids use public transit anyway.
