Any tips for removing a demi-permanent hair color quicker then waiting 28 shampoos?
It came out a lot darker brown than I like. The lady said it will get lighter but its been a week already and it's still dark. Maybe soemone has a tip to remove some of the color quicker?

unfortunately it is much easier to darken hair rather than lighten it. you will ruin your hair if you try to strip the color too quickly. i suggest you keep waiting until it lightens naturally.

other than shampooing in the very beginning, I don't have any tips BUT with a demi perm (on myself atleast) it fades pretty quick

There is also a process your salon can do to take out the color. I had it done once when I got a demi perm color that I hated. Give them a call to find out.

I bought a hair dye remover once when my hair came out too dark, but that will remove all color and you'll have to buy another dye kit similar to that of your natural color.
Also, could you get some highlights added instead to break up the color a bit?

I say let it fade. At least it is a demi. OMG - I just remembered that you were with me when Cesi died my hair in her basement and it turned almost black Just don't try to dye over it with a lighter color like I did...it turned orange!

Re: Any tips for removing a demi-permanent hair color quicker then waiting 28 shampoos?
Mix in 10 volume peroxide into your shampoo. The only danger here is that it might make the base come out stronger, which can make your hair look reddish or orange.
ETA: You CANNOT dye over a dark colour with a lighter one. It does not work that way. You will get some lift, but mostly deposit of the base colour. Only bleaching or a highlighting agent will lift a colour (and a harsh colour removing power)
