any tips of how to get your newborn to sleep through a 2.5 year old being loud all day
DD1 is such a light sleeper and DD2 is turning out to be that way too...DD1 is loooud and she's playing all day so I try to tell her to lower her voice but that NEVER works, so my 6 week old is ALWAYS up or woken up bc of it...any tips..I've tried putting her upstairs to sleep while we're downstairs or vice versa but it doesn't work bc I constantly have to keep running up or down to fix her paci as she wakes up crying for it..

Try in her room with a sound machine. I'm lucky Brayden is a deep sleeper. He sleeps through me vacuuming around him in his bouncy. Mason was the same way, but in his house with the hardwood floors I keep a sound machine for Masons room.

I had to put my younger son in his room upstairs with a sound machine. He is a light sleeper too and my older son woke him up all the time. I also have a guest room on my main floor so I would put him in there with the door shut.

I agree, the sound machine would probably work best.
so far so good over here, but DS2 is still really young. He has been napping in the same room as DS1 and the tv.

Yea - that was annoying. Jack always woke Tyler up. Nap her in her room if possible with the door shut and the sound machine on.

I think I'll start to try napping her in her room with the sound machine I just need to set up the 2nd camera for the monitor...it's just hard bc she's 6 weeks now and not really on a strict schedule just yet!
