Any tips on how to get rid of the "new" couch smell faster?
Not sure if this is even possible but it is driving me crazy and it is making me nervous that it is harmful for my DS. I have the windows open and the smell isn't really bad (according to DH who hardly smells it) but I wish i could get rid of it faster! TIA!

Fabreeze? I don't think Fabreeze would be harmful to your DC, esp. if they're not climbing all over the couch.

This may sound weird but can you put it outside for a few hours?

I would try Febreeze. Or how about sprinkling baking soda over it and vacuuming it up after 15 minutes or so?

carpet fresh makes a spray foam for carpets and i use it on my microfiber couch aslo to freshen it up.
you spray it on and the foam disappears
