Any under 30 yrs. members having issues?
I am 28. I feel like I am one of the few women under 30 with fertility issues. Anyone else under 30 on this site?

Re: Any under 30 yrs. members having issues?
I'm 28. I found out I have endo in May 2005. I have been TTC since November of 2005. So, I'm going on my 10th month now. I have tried 4 cycles of Clomid one of them with an IUI and now I'm going straight to IVF. I just don't want to end up having another surgery to remove the endo so before it gets bad again the DR recommended going straight to IVF. I'm a little nervous not about the procedure but of all of the things I have tried thus far that ended up in negative results what if this doesn't work... I'm trying to be positive but its such an emotional roller coaster. How long have you been TTC?

Re: Any under 30 yrs. members having issues?
I was diagnosed with Stage IV Endo in October 2005, right after I turned 28. I was told by specialists that I have Endo since at least before my son Caiden was born which was in 2004. So I've basically had it since at least 2003, probably sooner. I had a Lap done in 12/05 and I miraculously got PG right after the Lap procedure. I've been told that both my babies are miracle babies! Well, with Caiden I don't think the Endo was severe at that point. I believe it was there but not that bad yet. With this baby, the Endo I had right before was VERY BAD!!! I thought it was going to take forever to get PG. The Lap helped I guess! Good luck to you and I hope you get your little miracle soon!

Re: Any under 30 yrs. members having issues?
I have been trying for approximately ten months. I always knew I had ovulation problems my entire life, it just didn't really affect me until now. I have PCOS, and right now taking metformin to see if it will help. Did you take metformin before trying the clomid? Does that treat endo as well?

I did Clomid first when working with just an OBGYN. Then I moved to an RE who put me on the Met.
I don't know about the endo questions.

I'm 29 now, but started all this when I was 27. I get nervous about the myth that your chances of conceiving begin to drop when you turn 30. We'll see I guess
