Anybody buy one of the cheap swing sets from walmart and regret it?
I'm looking at the 399 one and I know there's been discussion about it b4 but I don't want to make a $400 mistake. I'm sure there must be a quality difference b/w this and wood kingdom sets. But there's no way we can afford one of the $1000 and up wood kingdom sets. I'm looking for honest feedback from anyone who's got one on how it's holding up and how did it go together, etc.

Did you look up reviews of it? I did, and the worst things about it was that it was incredibly difficult to put together. Other than that, the reviews seemed ok. We ended up getting a metal set because the one from Walmart was too big for the area we wanted it in, but we were very close to buying it.

The reviews seem pretty good. Only one comment that the wood was thinner than other sets which is whta prompted my Q.

No but I bought one from TRU! (My SIL is a manager there) WORST.MISTAKE.EVER!!!!!
Next time we will spend the money to get a good one from like Wood Kingdom or something. It is a piece of junk!!!! It is falling apart!!

i got the little tykes one and thought my daughter would outgrow it by now and she loves it and still plays on it. think we paid 399. think we can get another 2 summers out of it.

We bought one from Walmart 2 years ago and had no problems with it. Putting it together wasnt too hard and my kids LOVE it! I think the one we got was $399.

Did you have it delivered or were you able to find it in a store? The shipping is pretty steep. It's over $100 to ship it.
