anybody else feeling pretty much okay?

Hi...
I'm about 8 weeks, and I feel fine. I get nauseaus every now and then, nothining horible. I'm tired but nothing unbearable. My bbs are not as sore as they were. I hope everything is okay...Sometimes I wish I was sick more or more tired just so I knew I was okay. Does that sound crazy?

Not crazy at all...I was so nauseous for weeks 6-14 without a pause but then it stopped and I worried that the baby was in trouble because I wasn't sick. I laugh now but I was serious then.

I hope that this good streak continues for you. Chat Icon

Not crazy at all. I hated the first tri with no symptoms (although most people told me to shut up & enjoy itChat Icon ) but it is almost like if you are a little ill or feeling off you know you are PG. It was tough. Now I wish I felt that goodChat Icon

Re: anybody else feeling pretty much okay?

I can relate - but I was soooo ill it was horrible - the only thing that kept me sane was knowing that if I was feeling so sick, I was still PG!

Me too! I've felt fine since day 1 and have been nervous about it ever since. I was so relieved when I heard baby's heartbeat @ 9 weeks but still secretly wish I was sick or something (I know, I know, be careful what you ask for). Tomorrow I go for my ultrascreen and can't wait to see baby again - will calm my nerves I'm sure! Hang in there - it seems to be more normal than not to be symptomless - it can change at any time from what I hearChat Icon

I wasn't sick, just kinda tired. Be thankful you're having a great pregnancy, these m/s horror stories sound awful and scary!

Re: anybody else feeling pretty much okay?

Pregnancy wise I felt FINE until this week (15 weeks). Now I have muscle stretching and a backache.

It was very stressful not to feel ANYTHING for a long time!

You know what they say...be careful what you wish for...you never know when you can get hit with nausea and m/s. I learned to take it day by day. Although I've been ok for the most part(had a little nausea and queasiness) there were days that I felt just awful. I just take it day by day and enjoy it to the fullest when I feel great!

In due time. No pun intended.

Re: anybody else feeling pretty much okay?

Now that I am sick, if it stops before about 11 weeks, I will worry a lot. but if you aren't sick, you should definitelty enjoy it. This has been torture for me.

Wow, so we'll be due around the same time. I think I'm just about 8 weeks. I have another sono on April 16th. They'll give me my due date then, since I don't have a last period to go by (I have PCOS) I've been peeing a lot more too, especially at night.

I am in the same boat as you!
A little cramping here and there, but essentially I feel exactly the same as before.
Add to the fact that I felt the same way before and had a m/s, and I am totally petrified. Hopefully Thursday will be a good day when I have my u/s.

Re: anybody else feeling pretty much okay?

I felt really good, no m/s, just tired in week 11-12 but it was definitely bearable. I'd just go to sleep earlier. I was also a bit moody (poor dh!) Overall I'd say that my pg has been pretty easy, the only thing I've had to deal with is a lot of scary bleeding due to placenta previa. But heck, the baby is doing great so I can't complain!

That's how I felt in the beginning...no 2 pregnancies are alike..I'm living proof. I was a sick mess the first time! Nor is there any perfect standard. Some women have EVERY symptom at the precise "normal" stages and some have none at all!

Oddly, by feeling GREAT, I worried more.Chat Icon
