I dont know about that one but I went to puerto vallarta and you should be careful and stay in a "name" hotel you are familiar with. The only reason I say this is bc we stayed at the marriot and it was gorgeous. 2cnd week at a no name and it turned out to be a dive despite the pics. Also some hotels say beachfront with no beach but rocks and cliffs.

I haven't stayed there, but i just wanted to rave about PV. DH and I love it there!!! We can't wait to go back. The town is much less commercialized than Cancun, and there are tons of dining and drinking options. If you're looking for Mexica food and margheritas, you have to go to Pipis. It's right in town and they have the biggest, best margs.

ETS- is this hotel affiliated with Paradise Village? If so, it's a beautiful place. They even have their own little mall for food shopping, souvenirs ad a couple of restaurants. It isn't in Puerto Vallarta though, it's in Nuevo Vallarta (it's on the same block as my timeshare Mayan Palace.) You will need to either take a bus or cab into town- which is like a 15 minute ride. The nice thing about staying in NV is that even though it's not right in town, the beaches tend to be a lot nicer.
