Anybody give Multi-Vit/Flouride Drops to 6mth+ child?
Talk to me...my Ped just gave a an RX to fill. Should I start giving him these. He is 6mth 1.5 weeks. I have heard good and bads about Flouride and don't know what to do.
If so, how do you give to them? With food, certain times of days, etc?

i give them to my son - he loves medicine - so i just give them with his breakfast so i don't forget

My DC have always taken the vitamins with flouride.
I give them when they are having their breakfast.

I've been giving my DS hs polyvit w/ fluoride since he was 6 months old. I never thought not to. Our water doesn't have the recommened amount of fluoride.

DS got them at 6 months too. Long Island water doesn't have flouride in it. He is now 14 months old and gets the drops every morning...

Just got the scipt yesterday.
DD is 6 months as well.
I trust my doc.
I'll give them to her.
I grew up on these. I always had great teeth too...maybe it was the flouride vits!

DS was on Tri-Vi-Flor until he was 1 year and is now on Poly-Vi-Flor. I give them to him at night so I can wash everything he spits out off of him in the bath

Yep, I did the same, gave them to her at night. She LOVES taking medicine from a syringe!
