Anybody have a Dodge Charger?
I'm thinking of getting one, but not sure about driving a rear-wheel drive/automatic in the snow (with a baby on board no less). Just wondering how it handles if any of you have it. I doubt we'll get it, but DH is so psyched at the thought of me being a pimp mama in a muscle car

Re: Anybody have a Dodge Charger?
we have the new mustang- Jake didn't drive it when it snowed last year
but we had his pathfinder that he never sold- but now we are selling it and he thinks he is taking my new SUV to work- I told him I will drop him off
I wouldn't drive a rear wheel drive car in the snow- esp with a baby- my last car was rear wheel- and it was terrible

Re: Anybody have a Dodge Charger?
If that is going to be your only mode of transportation, I wouldn't do it. Unless you are prepared to pay for car rentals when it snows. Rear-wheel drive cars in the snow are a NIGHTMARE!!!

Re: Anybody have a Dodge Charger?
I think the last time I drove a rear-wheel drive car in the snow was when I was about 18!!! And I didn't like it! I've had nothing but front-wheel drive/manual or AWD since then. Eh, might as well test drive it, just for fun! The dealership is right around the corner.
I'll probably wind up getting the Subaru Legacy GT wagon which is AWD.
Thanks!

Re: Anybody have a Dodge Charger?
you wont like it then
I just got rid of my rear wheel drive car- it was the first and last one I had
even in a miliimeter of snow I would be going sideways down the road
those cars have a lot of power- I get nervous just sitting my husbands car- the suspension is so tight- every time you hit a bump- you bounce
take it for a test drive- but I don't think you will be happy in the long run for what you need it for
