Anybody have a GE or Frigidaire side-by-side fridge? Feedback please :)

Hello-
We are debating between a side-by-side and a french door/bottom freezer.

These two side-by-side models below seemed to have more decent inside capacity than other side-by-sides. The shelves were pretty deep and it seemed like the freezer would be easier to organize than a bottom drawer.

(I know you often can't fit a sheet cake, tray, or pizza box in a side-by-side but that's not too much of an issue for us. And we're going to keep our old traditional fridge in the basement so we can use that when hosting events.)

Any feedback on these models (or similar models) would be greatly appreciated!! TIA :)

I have the GE and like it a lot. I can keep a ton of stuff in it, so much that things get lost. It is easy to clean which is a plus, too.

we have a whirlpool gold side by side, that looks really similar to both of these--- i love it!
i don't feel like i'm short on space... and i love all of the shelves in the freezer because i freeze a lot of meat, and so now each type of meat can have its own shelf, and frozen veggies go in the basket thing... helps make it easy to keep organized

i have the GE - the door is constantly squeaking ... i have all GE appliances and they are a very difficult company to deal with. My brand new stove was smoking out of all the sides and was burning hot for hours. They sent two repair people out and claim there is nothing wrong with and refuse to replace it. It was so bad that my dad ran over with the fire extinguisher and we were debating on whether or not to call the fire dept. The heat was so intense that it started to melt a caphalon pan.

**space - wise I love the side by side. between all the door compartment and the drawers it's great.

I have a GE cafe series side by side and have been really happy with it. There is a ton of room and I feel very organized with all the compartments and shelves.
