Anybody have a movement sensor monitor?
My dad saw some special on TV about the movement sensor monitors ( think they go under the mattress pad) and he wants to get it for the baby (aside from the furniture and bedding and everything else he and mom have gotten )
Anybody have one? I saw there are a few different brands and types within the brands. Are they a waste of money?

I used the Angel Care monitor and it had the sensor. I loved it.

question about the monitor- on the website it says it has to be under the mattress but beneath a board- my crib has the springs and then teh mattress- do i need to put a piece of wood between?

No. We just put it under the mattress and it worked fine.

What does it do exactly? Let's you know when the baby moves? I don't really get what it's for.
