How much do you think I would need for 60 guests? (I was going to use small cello bags for the favor. We already have a main favor, so this is just like a little something to go with it.)

I've already ordered 14 - 7oz bags, which doesn't even equal a pound. I have a strong feeling a pound won't cut it for 60 guests. Chat Icon

Any ideas how much I might need?

I been to a few parties that had m&m's for favors.... My aunt &uncle had their 50th anniversary party a 3 years ago and had their name and the date on the m&m.

I had these as one of my favors for my wedding.

I used a box size is 2x2x1-1/4. I used about 10lb bags for 100 boxes.

I did the custom ones for Cole's christening for about 60 people. Give me a minute to figure out how much I ordered -- I had quite a bit left over. I put them in tulle drawstring bags.
And i know i spent something ridiculous like $250 on freaking M&Ms. Chat Icon

I ordered some custom ones for my sister's shower...but they're expensive. I already dropped over $130 for less than a pound and only half of them were custom.

Just wondering if I'm going to need 5lbs of M&Ms and have to sell my first born to pay for them. Chat Icon Chat Icon

Ooohh...that would be very helpful!!!! Chat Icon

Crazy how much they charge!!!!
I wasn't thinking before I ordered them and it's not like I can return the custom ones, so I might as well go ahead with it.

could you mix in some regular colored M&Ms? i used the custom ones as part of my wedding favor and off-set the cost by ordering the noncustom ones too and mixing them in.

That's what my brother and SIL did at their wedding. I don't know the proportions, but they mixed custom ones with plain ones.

If you wanted to mix in the non custom colored ones, Linens N Things carries them and you can use the 20% off coupons. I have some I can send you if you wanted.

I know the one in Levittown on Hempstead Tpke has them near the registers.

I wonder if you might have more than 1 pound. Is it 14 of the 7 oz bags?
