Anybody join the Childrens Book-of-the-month club?
I got something in the mail about it and it looks too good to be true.

Is that the 8 selections for $2? This is a large variety of books.
Do you sign up then they jack up the prices?

nope they dont.....You usually have a commitment though to keep to...buying a certain amount.
The Dr. Suess was good. It was like $7.99 I think for each addtional book and I had to buy 2 more.....
I havent seen any other kind though?

I did when my son was little. I forget how many additional books you had to buy after the initial free set, but they weren't highly priced at all and we built up a nice set of books. After we fulfilled the obligation, I wrote cancel on the next order and it was no problem. I did get a few calls after that trying to get me to re-join, that was the only downside.

Just watch the postage/ shipping and handling with those places!!!
You might be better just going to Borders and chosing from many more books. JMHO.....
