Anymore sonos in 3rd trimester?
my last sono was when I fell down the stairs at 23 weeks, so it doesn't count. The one before that was at the level II.
Anymore coming up that I can look forward to?

It depends on your Dr. If they feel there is a medical necessity for it, you will have one.

Some Dr's do a growth sono at the end, but it is up to the practice and your insurance.
My last sono was at 20 weeks, I won't have another unless medically necessary.

we were told week 12 has a sono and week 20 - nothing more than that.

I had one last night at 28 weeks, and doctor wanted me to have another at 30 weeks, but couldnt get in so doing at 31 weeks.

Some Drs. do them, others don't. I was told only 12 weeks and 20 weeks, but I've had alot of them so far this pregnancy due to other issues. I had one last week at 28 weeks, and I should be having another 2 or 3 before I'm due.

right - it depends on the doctors. my sil - hasn't had one since 20 weeks....she's due in January...and misses them TERRIBLY...

Some doctors are not sono happy it seems.
My office says they only do 3rd Trimester sonos if necessary.

I just did one at 30 weeks. They were checking for growth and size. I believe that I will have one more toward the very end.

It actually depends on your insurance, not the doctor. I know my doctor wouldn't do a growth sono unless medically necessary.
I had one at 35 weeks and it was a very traumatizing experience (they thought DS had IUGR) and I would have MUCH preferred not to have had that sono

yes, often because of insurance and also there is debate if there are risks to having too many sonos.

Totally depends on the Dr. and insurance as well. Many insurance wont pay for too many sonos. I have been lucky with insurance and Dr. I have 3 growth sonos scheduled in the 3rd trimester. You can always get a 3d sono on your own if you wanted to even though you'd have to pay out of pocket.

It def depends! At my Level II, I was told that it'd be my last sonogram unless I'd medically need one! At my last doctors appt, my doc said that my belly is measuring small so most likely I will have a growth sono between 30-32 weeks
