Anyone a Corporate Trainer at work?

And how do you handle teaching/training contemporaries or colleagues who are seemingly on the same level as you?

I recently started a training program at work where I teach a class of 4-5 people 2 times a day seemingly indefinitely on a certain topic which Im a service matter expert on..

Well Im finding it HARD...I feel like I find myself apologizing for it, and trying to make sure they know I am not implying I'm smarter then them. I noticed one person today who seemed almost bored and kinda rude , not paying attention and I felt like I was insulting him?

How do I just "get over it" LOL?
TIA

If your company put you in charge (sidenote..i just wrote chart first and had to change it..where is my mind?) of training a specific topic than they feel that YOU ARE THE MASTER of it & you have every right to be teaching that class.
Remind yourself of that each day!

thanks Deb, I tried..I even tried talking to my supervisors about it, how I felt sooo apologetic..and one of the girls today who I was friends with said STOP making yourself out to be not good enough for this...you did amazing...so that helped, but then I think oh lord, these people think Im trying to be a know it all.

Its not even that I care what they think so much as I always try to avoid being know as the "know it all" ...Goes back to my teachers....LONG STORY...lol

Look at it this way, you are not being a KIA, you are just doing what is asked of you.
Keep it just that simple.
