Curious to hear from any full time freelancers out there? I'm thinking of looking into this (common in my industry) but would be afraid of the lack of guaranteed income.

Feedback on your experience is greatly appreciated!

I think we are in relatively similar industries, if I recall correctly......although not the same industry.

I think if you hustle, freelancing can really work. Chat Icon

Re: anyone a full time freelancer?

I've thought about it (I work with a very specific population where doing this is common), but seeing the aggravation DH goes through being self-employed, I know it's not for me. Especially because of the CO health insurance too here on LI.

Having a house and a child...........I need to also know I am bringing in a steady paycheck.

Is there something you can do to supplement your income on the side?

I've seen some successful business owners on this site even when they are first starting out do things like waitressing or bartending.

GL!

Yeah, it is the unsteady income that worries me. We have a house (no kids) and DH's salary cannot support us 100 percent if needed.

Yes, there is supplemental work that I can do. I already have that bit covered.
