as soon as we move out and the baby gets her own room i will be attempting to paint stripes.. i dont know how im going to do it but i have all intentions of trying!

yes, my dh will be doing stripes on my dd's walls (not a nursery but for her Big girl room)
we are buying a purple paint, painting the whole room in an eggshell finsih, then on the top half of the wall (above the chair rail) he is painitng stripes, the same color paint but in a semi-gloss finish
It make a subtle but noticible difference, the different sheens

it's not that bad...measure, tape and paint

Not bad at all. I did it 8.5 mos pregnant with DS.

This must have been the day the furniture was delivered - none of it is in that place
