anyone awake? i am so uncomfortable.
i tried to sleep on the couch so that dh could sleep, but thats just not comfortable, so i went into bed, but these contractions are sooooooooo painful.. They are still about every 10 minutes and when i get the really strong ones, then i have to pee also. Guess i'm not sleeping tonight.
i just dont see how i'm going to spend the day if not longer with these contractions!!!
What can i do

I don't have any advice about the contractions, I'm sorry . Does walking help? Or can your DH rub your back?

Listen to favorite music. It helped me when I delivered my daughter.

Re: anyone awake? i am so uncomfortable.
Try taking a bath or standing it the shower. It will aleviate some of the pain.

I thought you weren't supposed to take baths that late in pregnancy b/c if your water broke you'd have issues?
But I agree with the shower...

If her water hasn't broken yet then its not an issue (I'm assuming it hasn't). Also women have water births all the time, so I'm guessing its ok to still be in the water

yesterday at Lamaze they told us both showers and baths were okay, even after your water broke.
