Anyone been to Akershus and Cinderella's Royal Table?
I've been to Cinderella's RT for dinner and we thought it was great.
We only booked our trip recently and there isn't much availability... Only a 9:25 at Cinderella's RT, but on the same night there is an Akershus dinner at 7:30, I. Booked both but have to cancel one.
How is Akershus compared to CInderellas?
My kids are pretty good when we have to do things late and we will have to adjust their schedules a little for the trip anyway, but 9:25 dinner might be pushing it....

Re: Anyone been to Akershus and Cinderella's Royal Table?
We did both meals on our last trip and Akershus the trip before that. Both times we did Akershus we really enjoyed it. We went with my parents. All 4 adults thought the interaction was better there than at CRT. We enjoyed CRT but putting the food aside... the cost is less for akershus. We thought cinderella at CRT was fabulous but you wave a wand around athe princesses rush around. Not one upstairs really interacted with the kids besides a polite how are you or I like your dress. At Akershus the princesses came over full oflife and signed the books while they spoke with the kids. Ariel had a full conversation withthe kids about her starfish. At CRT they basically signed if asked, said you look pretty, smiled for a photo and left. We got about twice the time at Akershus (both trips were consistant experiences).
Akershus also does a princess parade where each princess leads their room on a parade around the whole dining room. Very cute.
When asked which one they preferred they said eating in the castle was fun but that they didn't care if they did it again. They wanted to do Akershus again though.

Oh thanks. That helps. I think we were planning on doing Epcot that day anyway, so akershus would be good, I just didn't want them to miss out on CRT.
We really enjoyed the food at CRT too. How does the food compare at Akershus?
I know it's not about the food, but it's still not cheap and we don't want to hate the food.

we went to Akershus and we loved it! I read it was just like Cinderellla's castle but half the price Never been to Cinderella's castle. But when you are inside Akershus you think you are in a castle - and you see all the same princesses anyway! I rather use the money i save on another character meal! loll!

I've never been to Cinderella's Royal Table, but we went to Akershus in August, and we all loved it!
The princesses were great - they were all so friendly and spent a lot of time at each table, talking to the kids while they signed the autograph books. Our waiter was also fantastic - my DD had a meltdown, and he spent so much time trying to make her laugh - he really went above and beyond.
The food was also really good - my DH said that it was the best meal he had while we were in Disney.

Been to both- CRT for breakfast and lunch ans skershus for dinner. Loved both!!!! Can't go wrong. CRT is a little more " special" but both are great.
As far as food I liked CRT breakfast more than the Lunch.

My family liked the Akershus meal better. I though they were about the same. I didn't get anything exotic though...steak dish. The app buffet has salads, fruit, cheeses, aspargus and grilled veggies, as well as some other things like peel and eat shrimp (they were bringing bowls of lobster claws or tails I don't remember because we didn't get them. My daughter has a shellfish allergy.)
