Anyone been to any festivals this weekend?
There are so many going on. I was thinking of going to either the Bayville one or the Port Washington one.

Re: Anyone been to any festivals this weekend?
Which ones are those you mentioned? I would like to know.
We went to the Medieval Festival in Sands Point yesterday.
The castles were beautiful to see. We also watched the jousting. The horses were beautiful.
Otherwise, it was just ok. Sort of boring if you don't LOVE Medieval stuff (we don't).
$7 per adult to get in 127 Middle Neck RD Sands Point Next Sat and Sun also

We have been to Sands Point before, it is beautiful, reminded me of France. Did you do the tour of Falsaise, that was nice.
The ones I mentioned are the Bayville Waterfront Festival and the Grand Festa Italiana in Port Washington. You can read about them on newsday.com.

Falaise was not open for tours this weekend due to the festival.
I will check out the other things. Thanks.

We went to pt. washingtons italian feast yesterday. VERY small IMO. Including the time it took to get DS out and car and into the stroller and back into the car we were there 20 min tops!
