Re: Anyone been to Bahamas/Paradise Island/Nassau ?
Haven't been to The Cove (but read an amazing article on it!). We stayed at Atlantis last October with our then 10 month old...We loved it as a family vacation spot...LOTS of stuff for us to do, and the beach was beautiful. We lucked out & it wasn't too full of families, BUT from what I've heard it can get insanely crowded (like having to go to the pools at 7am to get a chair). For me personally, I wouldn't choose Atlantis as a vacation for just DH & myself, we'd probably go to the Ocean Club right by Atlantis, just b/c we'd want to be away from all the screaming kids & families . This is JMO, it IS a beautiful place & perhaps the Cove is a bit different (I think it should be for what they charge!). Good Luck in your decision!

Best feedback I've received - thank you. We're actually looking into a place that doesn't have too many families as we want more of a "couples" resort.
TY!!!!

I would highly suggest the Sandals resort then that is down the road from Atlantis. We stayed there and took a day trip over to Atlantis to take in the aquarium and the casinos, but returned to our solitude at Sandals with their private restaurants, beaches, pools, etc. Best trip we ever took by far!
ETA: This is all inclusive - all meals/drinks, taxes, gratuties, airport transfers, etc are included, so when you're there, you can lock your purse in the safe in your room and just enjoy yourself and eat and drink all you want!

I have been to Nassau twice. Stayed at Breezes one time. The hotel is really nice but there isn't much else to do off the resort. Paradise island is better, we traveled over there both times that I went.

@PotofLuck06 What room type did you stay in at the Sandals? Luxury, Club or Butler?

We loved the Cove! Beach and pool felt quiet, away from the waterpark chaos and cruise traffic. At the same time, we could easily walk over when we wanted to ride the slides and see the aquarium. Awesome family vacation. The spa was also fantastic.
If you are looking for a family friendly resort that is also romantic, I HIGHLY recommend Rosewood Mayakoba. DH and I were able to relax and enjoy couple time while kids were in kids club. The service at this resort is superb. A+.
