Anyone Commute By Car From Western Suffolk To The Bayridge Area
My BFF currently lives on the South Shore (Massapequa very far south by the water) and she would love to buy a house in western suffolk. The only problem is her husband's business is in Bayridge and he goes in 4 days a week. Does anyone do this commute, by car, from Commack?Smithtown, KP, Ft. Salonga???? If so, would love to know how long it takes you.

Re: Anyone Commute By Car From Western Suffolk To The Bayridge Area
I live in Western Suffolk (right off the Southern State) and my family lives near Exit 8 on the Belt Parkway (Bay Ridge would be Exit 4). With no traffic, it takes me a little under an hour; with average traffic, a little over an hour.
From Commack, etc. it will take about 10-20 minutes longer, because they'll have to get down to the Southern State to head on the Belt. So my best guess is, with average traffic, about an hour and 15 minutes, give or take.

I live in Bay Ridge and drive to Northport a lot to visit my family. I would say that it takes me anywhere from 1.15 minutes to 2 hours, depending on traffic.
