I delivered at St Charles in January. I loved it. I had a scheduled c-section and I thought the nurses were very nice. I had my own room, but only because there weren't many people in the maternity ward when I was there. There was another bed in my room, but no one was there for the 3 days.

I had DD#2 there and absolutely loved it !! You do share a room but with all the care I got from the doctors and nurses I didnt mind !! I really wish I could have this DD there but my insurance only covers SB

I delivered my DS (scheduled C-section)there in'05 and will be there again in January to deliver #2....The 1st night I was in a shared room because there weren't any private rooms available (they only have a couple) and the rest of my stay DH was there and we payed for the private....It was really nice to have him there with me, but it is an extra expense- They were very lenient w/ visitors and with DH's staying after hours - Loved it there

Delivered there and loved it. Had my own room but only bc there weren't alot of deliveries

I had DS at Stony Brook, and DD at St. Charles.
I LOVED, LOVED St. Charles. I will be delivering #3 there as well.

I delivered DS there and absolutely  it there. If we are blessed with another little one, we will definately deliver there again. You have nothing to worry about!

I just recently had my son at St. Charles. Although I have nothing to compare it to I had an great experience. The nurse I had during delivery amazing...her name was Nora. I don't have any complaints whatsoever. I absolutely recommend this hospital.
