anyone delivering at south nassau?
i am starting their classes this week (hospital tour thrusday, lamaze on saturday, baby care on the 21st, breastfeeding august 4th)
just curious if anyone is on the same schedule! i know it's not a "common" hospital to deliver at

I live in Oceanside, but my doctor is in Manhasset so delivering at NSUH....but heard only great things about South Nassau, I can get you good bagels from the best bagel place in the world if you want

well you know i just delivered there last week and had a great experience!
they teach you everything when you are there--they are great. the lactation consultants give you private lessons whenever you want or need them--you just ring for them to come to the room. they also teach you how to bathe and care for your newborn, as well as dietary guidelines if breastfeeding. the food is pretty good too!

LOL!!! No problem...anything to get a bagel with 10 pounds of cream cheese on it....

I delivered in SN back in April and had a great experience overall (minus one nurse). The care DS received in the NICU was really good. I think you'll be happy there! When DH and I are ready for another baby, we plan to deliver in SN again.

I'll be there Thursday night too .
I'm HOPING I can deliver at SN. My drs are with SN and Mercy (and I believe Winthrop)...but I know Mercy used to be their kind of "home base" when I had my son. I did have a decent experience at Mercy but I've heard nothing but GREAT things about SN so I really want to deliver there. The problem is if they are already at Mercy, that's where I'll be going....which I would be fine with but I'm hoping for SN .

i hope you can deliver at SN too - i have heard nothing but amazing things, and i actually chose my dr's office based on where they delivered
