Yes, and it's the best way to get back into running or to start because it doesn't expect you to run a mile right away. You gradually build endurance rather than disspointing yourself that you can't run 2 miles or even 2 minutes right away.

I'm finishing uyp week 2 today
The podcasts are great. The music isn't so good, but it helps pass the time.
ETA I use the Robert Ullrey podcasts

People who use podcasts- Do they give you the timing- ie, run now, walk now etc. Cause I find trying to time it all is a pita.

Yes, in the Robert Ullrey ones he actually says "OK, you're half way done. Now remember to keep your arms low...blah blah blah....now go!" Then he speaks again when it's time to slow down.
I don't love the music- it isn't really on the beat (not at my pace anyway) but it's better than having to stare at a watch.

Do you have to purchase his podcasts or can you download them for free?

Re: Anyone do the Couch Potato to 5k plan?
It's a series of interval workouts designed to have you running a 5 K in 9 weeks..I've only heard of the ones from DJ Steveboy and the music has good beat and is pretty good..give it a try!
