anyone doing acupuncture but not yet going to an RE?
I feel that I would need at least a few more months before I am ready to go to an RE. When the time comes, I may not want to take fertility drugs at all, for reasons I'd prefer not to debate right now. We are considering adoption, though, so I do have options. I'd like to explore options like acupuncture but I see that the best acupunctire results have come along with IVF, which I may never get to. Is it worth trying accu. alone for a few months?
((PS, no problems with other people using all the fertility drugs. This is not about opposing what anyone else is doing. Some of my favorite kids in my life are the result of various procedures and meds. Also, I would go to an RE for workup before really deciding.))

Re: anyone doing accupuncture but not yet going to an RE?
hello...a co-worker of mine who is 35 has been ttc for 2 years. Her doctor told her due to her age and medical history that her chances were slim. She tried hormones and they did not agree with her. About 3-4 months ago she started accupuncture. She went once a week. And we just found out this week...she's pregnant
Hope this story helps

One of my teacher in a licensed acupuncturist specializing in women fertility.
He has LOTS of success stories.
It only took us 2 months to get PG but I had contacted him already in case it would have taken longer.

Re: anyone doing acupuncture but not yet going to an RE?
I had my 1st acupuncture appt. tonight. I'm going to go 2 times a week for the next 2 cycles. It's worth a try.. I've heard some positive stories, so I'd rather try this for a while, then move on to the next step. I'm 36 and did get PG after 6 months TTC, but m/c July 28, so I believe I should be able to conceive again, it's just taking a while. I'm 3 cycles post m/c..
Good luck if you give it a try...

The studies have been done on IVF patients that is all that means. I would say you will definitely increase your chances naturally! Good luck.
