Anyone doing the 10K in Long Beach
It is on November 22nd and I am thinking about doing it and was wondering if any LIF girls were going to do it as well?

hmmm...maybe. You think I have enough time to train...I haven't really run more than 6k outdoors

I have a race in Central Park that day (2 days after oral surgery, I'll be lucky to walk through the finish line). Is this your first 10K? LB would be a good one, since it should be relatively flat.

Yes it is my first 10k so I am really excited. I have been running 6-7 miles on Saturdays so I am pretty confident I will do okay (at least I hope I do). Yes I am looking for a nice flat run b/c I did the blazing trails 4 mile autism run last week and although it was only 4 miles it was very hilly and it was tough but I did it in 42min 09sec so I was happy. I am also going to do a turkey trot in Hungtington on Thanksgiving morning that I heard is hilly as well!
