Anyone drive a hybrid..
Car or SUV?
Which make?
Do you like it?
DH said to me last night "with gas prices going up, I'd love to get you a hybrid"..
We won't be looking until around August but doing the research is fun.

How much of your driving is local vs Highway? Also, do you take long trips in addition to your everyday driving?
DH works for Toyota & very often with the Prius & Highlander hybrid. They are great cars & get amazing mileage IF you use it for shorter/local trips or in heavy traffic. If you are mostly driving on smooth highway (light - no traffic), then you will be using the gas engine rather than the electric/kinetic and will not save too much in gas.
He does love the hybrids, particularly the Highlander since it has comparable power to the traditional engine model.

I do all local driving. Im a SAHM. I go to the bank, grocery store, park, dr. appts, etc.
Hardly any highway driving!
The Highlander is exactly the SUV I want (in baby blue) LOL.
We have to see financially if we can swing it!

ETA: with the gas prices these days, everyone should be riding one of those rather than driving!

Then you would definitely benefit from it.
He loves the Highlander b/c like I said it has the power, so you will still benefit from the stability & function in the snow, while keeping the gas costs down. Plus it is very comfy inside & easy to drive without feeling like you are not in a truck. (Does that make sense?) He is a dedicated truck guy & he has been looking at this one as well.
