Anyone eat polenta?
I want to try it but I cant find it in the supermarket! Is it good? What do you eat it with?
I am going to the health food store this weekend - maybe I can find it there. Of course when I asked in Pathmark they looked at me like I was insane.....

yes in a cake/patti form or a porridge form or it can be used as breading on anything.

Re: Anyone eat polenta?
If you shop at Trader Joe's, they have a pre-made one that comes in a tube. You can slice it, or follow the directions on it to make it less firm - to serve it more like a mashed potato consistency.
ETA: I LOVE polenta!

you add things to it, like parm cheese or garlic or rosemary.
