anyone else a Mary Kay consultant?
I just started doing this so I can stay home, I had quit my job the week of our wedding due to differences with my boss and I got PG on our honeymoon. I wanted to do something I can continue to do from home when the baby is born. I was just curious if anyone else here does this and how they like it?

Did it and purchased a a pretty large set inventory and a year later sold most of it back to MK. I know a great director in Levittown if you want good meetings to go to. I would think it would be hard to attend meetings, classing and do appointments with a baby. I have had numerous friends have alot greater success with Pampered Chef or with Creative Memories if they were SAHM.

Good suggestion, what is Creative Memories? I haven't heard of this one.

Re: anyone else a Mary Kay consultant?
I was recently looking into this myself.
My only concern is the products. I've got a stereotype in my mind regarding MK, so they've sent me a few samples to try. How could I possibly sell/use something that I don't believe in- that's my hesitation. I know 3 of my friends in San Francisco have recently started doing this and they're all doing fairly well. Mind you, one of them is an attorney and she works for the city's attorney's office and now, she's selling MK on the side (wants a baby). I figure if it's good enough for her, might be good enough for me too.

Re: anyone else a Mary Kay consultant?
I used to be an active MK consultant.. with the move I haven't been able to pick it back up yet.. I have an AWESOME person if you have questions I can send you her email.. She's awesome to help guide and educate new sellers.. she has been doing it for years.. and actually has five kids!! She actually worked with a couple ladies on LIW through recommendations.. Xelindrya knows her too from a show.
If you have any questions, feel free to also FM me!!
