Anyone else ANNOYED at the Tyra Banks slam in the tabloids?
SERIOUSLY.....I think she looks GREAT and I truly feel that is the way a woman SHOULD look...nice, sexy curves.

I haven't seen the slam, but I think she's incredibly beautiful. Stunning in fact.

I was more on the "What a woman should look like" angle of it, not that they slammed her per se.
I think she and others deserve kudos for standing behind their self image and not crumbling to the "standard" that the press makes us think is what is normal and sexy.

Oh, I agree. just saying that there have been a bunch of threads on Celebrity about it.
i like Tyra (kind of.. i used to like her more, but she got annoying)... and i agree that 'real women have curves', and it IS refreshing to see once in a while, BUT....
she's also on a show that slams girls all the time based PURELY on looks, weight, etc. and while i love ANTM... she's basically perpetuating the same ideals that she's fighting the media on.
kind of hypocritical, imo.

I think she looks great...
The media blows everything out of control and shes entitled to gain some weight after starving herself all of those years to be "model perfect."

Yes but when you join ANTM or just an agency, you KNOW that is what you are in for. Quite different than a woman standing on a beach on her own time.
I think its different when it's constructive work criticism and just a slam. I have always noticied how soft Tyra attempts to be when she tells models they need to do something about their body.

I hate when they make a big deal about these celebs being overweight..like they are super fat or something. They look like normal people and not scary thin and should be applauded. These are good role models.
