Anyone else around 21-22 weeks and not feeling the baby yet?
I'll be 22 weeks on Friday Haven't felt the baby yet (to my knowledge.) I don't even think I'm feeling what people describe as flutters, gas bubbles, etc. Last sono (almost 20 weeks) was great - baby was moving all around. Next OB appt is this coming Tuesday so obviously we can check. Maybe my kid's a late bloomer. Just trying to keep from being concerned.

do you know if you have an anterior placenta?
the only other reason i can think of is if you were overweight, which i don't think you are

I was going to say the same...about the placenta. My sis didnt feel her 2nd much around that time and being a 2nd, you know what to look/feel for. It was because her placenta was in the back.

I was just the same as you. I do have an anterior placenta, though, so that's probably a big part of the reason.
I'm now 29.5 weeks and at my last scan the baby was moving like crazy and I wasn't feeling a thing, so don't worry!
As long as the scans are good and your doc is happy, try not to worry!

I didn't feel the baby at all (other than an occasional flutter) until about 24 weeks. I have an anterior placenta.
Just this past week, at 27 weeks, I started feeling the baby more frequently.

I didn't feel anything till 24 weeks. I never had flutters. It started at 24 weeks as kicks and hasn't stopped since!

Re: Anyone else around 21-22 weeks and not feeling the baby yet?
I am 34 weeks and I didn't really start feeling the baby until closer to 25 weeks. This is my first so I just figure it's because I have never experienced this before. Don't panic!!

Re: Anyone else around 21-22 weeks and not feeling the baby yet?
Thanks for the reassurances, ladies! I don't know if I have an anterior placenta, haven't been told that. Pre-preg, I was prob slightly overweight - more so now Yeah - I'm not REALLY worried, I think feeling more left out!
Thanks! I'll ask about anterior placenta on Tuesday!!

With DD I didn't feel anything until about 24 weeks.
With this one I am almost 17 weeks and I have an anterior placenta so the OB told me it might be even later to feel something.

Re: Anyone else around 21-22 weeks and not feeling the baby yet?
I wouldn't worry....every pregnancy is different and some just feel it earlier then others. Sometimes you don't even realize what you are feeling. I didn't feel "flutter" till end of 2nd tri-mester but i felt lots of gas bubble feelings and little bumps. At first i had no clue....then it was more consistent.

I always thought that being overweight would stop other people from feeling the baby but not you- since you're feeling from the inside... I like to think I'm not fat on my insides, lol. So, is that true?
