Anyone else bummed about not being able to shop for Fall clothes?
Fall is my FAVORITE season... and I love Fall clothes. I am a sweater/blazer girl all the way-- there are so many cute things out there now, and I have no clue what my size will be... I can't partake!
At least I can look at shoes.

Re: Anyone else bummed about not being able to shop for Fall clothes?
Me - Fall is my favorite season. - But I have no clue what my body is going to do over the next few months, so I have to just wing it I guess -
Although I already bought new shoes A fab pair of wine patent heels and reluctantly a 'cute' pair of taupe suede flats ..........I hate flats, my mother insisted !!

Re: Anyone else bummed about not being able to shop for Fall clothes?
I'm a shopping ****, and a slave to fashion, and its killing me...I love getting the new styles for each season...but instead I'm satiating my need by buying really cute clothes for my Which I shouldn't even be doing bc I'm jewish!!!
ETA: I wanted to buy a killer pair of jimmy choo boots, but am scared that my calfs might swell so I had to walk away slowly from them...

Re: Anyone else bummed about not being able to shop for Fall clothes?
I just went shopping today and bought some x-larges/ size 12/14 in anticipation of fall and going back to teaching.
I am only 11 weeks but my size 10's are DONE. I am holding off buying "maternity" clothes and for now and just sticking to empire waist/trapeze style tops, roomy dresses and larger or strech waist pants

I love Fall, and I can totally relate!, even though I am having the baby within the next week (according to the OB). I love Fall, but I am really, really scared about how this train wreck of a body will look post-baby.
Boden is my favorite catalog (great baby & kids stuff in their kids division, too, very English-style), and I feel like I have no business even looking! I have been on modified bedrest most of my pregnancy, and my muscle tone has just gone away.....
(Sorry, getting all self-pitying here!)

I was crying over my Victorias Secret catologue the other day... It's where I buy 80% of my clothes usually...

I'm more bummed about the shoe situation. At 25 weeks I'm pretty much done with heels. I tried at the christening on Sunday but my feet were KILLING me an swelling so I had to switch into flip flops. I don't know what I'm going to do for the next 3 months!! :(

don't even discuss shoes... I had the blissful realization that I cannot have a winter baby EVER.
Why? becuase at 32 weeks I can only wear flip flops my feet are too puffy for even other types of sandals.
As for clothes, I was only momentarily sad I couldn't buy a skirt or 2 I liked this summer (I'm much more of a summer girl than a fall girl). I'm looking forward to wearing winter clothes though!

Re: Anyone else bummed about not being able to shop for Fall clothes?
Im not a big shopper when it comes to myself so im okay with not having to try on new cloths and spend money .. tho i need maternity stuff b/c my last pregnancy was the opposite side of the year.. so no stuff to wear and it kills me to buy new stuff since this will probable be my last pregnancy..

Re: Anyone else bummed about not being able to shop for Fall clothes?
I usually buy new clothes for the fall. I haven't been shopping for any clothes since my BFP. I have not clue how long I will be wearing them for and if they will even fit after. I am kinda feeling bad about not buying new fall/winter clothes this year. I don't think I will enjoy buying maternity clothes as much.

Yeah, it kind of bums me out too. I am trying to buy as little as possible in maternity clothes, so I guess I will have fun buying baby clothes instead this year.

Re: Anyone else bummed about not being able to shop for Fall clothes?
I have been buying a lot of maternity clothes. I know people say I won't wear them for long, but I don't care. I need to feel good about myself. I am buying things that are practical and stylish--cardigans and camis, tanks, jeans etc. I am hoping to get pregnant again in the next couple of years so it is not like they will be wasted!
