Anyone else DC have a barking cough at night that disappears in the morning?

Christopher woke up with a cold yesterday. It took me two hours to get him to bed and he woke an hour later with this barking cough. I couldn't even lay him in his bed. I had to sleep on the couch with him so he was elevated. When he woke up this morning the cough was gone.
