Anyone else do "early" potty training?
I'm reading this book, Diaper-Free Before 3 and it's really interesting. DS is 14 months and I'm going to give it a try. Just wondering if anyone else has done this.

My DD is only 15 months but she accompanies me whenever I *tinkle* and I sit her on the toilet when I am done. She is starting to show interest so I am just going with it. I think we are heading towards early potty training.

Re: Anyone else do "early" potty training?
As soon as my DS can walk I am starting. My MIL thinks I'm crazy, but my mom had all 3 of us potty trained by the time we were 2. I really think that disposable diapers have made it very convenient to delay potty training.

I am a BIG fan of early potty training. You can start as early as a yr, but 15 mo. is probably more ideal. I plan on starting DS around the summer and he will be around 15 months and hopefully he will be fully trained by 2.

Re: Anyone else do "early" potty training?
interesting, I am going to look into it.
Josh has always come to me everytime he poops to tell me he needs to be changed.
Now he runs up to me, yells MA! and sways back and forth.
I ask, did you go poopy?
He says YES!! so I think he gets it.
for a week when he was 10 months, he would grab a diaper, hand it to me, then lay down and lift his legs

I think I am going to give it a whirl.
He's never been able to play in a dirty diaper, like once he goes, that's it...he needs to be changed then and there.
