I'm not a teacher, but a parent...there are 0 flakes on the actual ground at this moment...bt they closed school anyway here in northern NJ

This is the first time EVER that my school did. The roads here after one hour of snow were ridiculous! We may get up to a foot of snow.

I found it even more obnoxious when they came on the PA to announce that we were getting out early... by FIVE WHOLE MINUTES. Seriously?  What was the freaking point of THAT?
