Anyone else get grief for not telling gender?

When will you realize and stop asking, we want it to be a surprise!!!!

What does it matter if we don't tell you the sex?
We should be the ones to care that everything is green & yellow.

I know you are excited and want to help out, but since we plan to have at least 1 more, we could use gender neutral stuff anyway!

They grow so quick, so once you know the sex, knock-yourself-out and shop away!!!!

Re: Tough we are not telling the sex! (mini VENT)

they just have to be patient!! we are not finding out either, and I find the response is either 'oh good' or 'how could you not!'

I'm going through the same thing now. People are either trying to talk me into finding out, or really happy we're doing it the old fashioned way. Many of the older people are the ones that are happy we're waiting. Our friends and younger family members all ask how we are possibly able to wait when we can very well find out. Green and yellow works!!

We haven't found out the sex, and my mother-in-law is convinced we know the sex and are not telling her.
She thinks we a re keeping her out of the loop. First of all we don't know the sex, and second of all if we decided to find out the sex for ourselves and not tell anyone it is our prerogative.

People really just need to respect the wishes of the couple having the baby.

People have been so surprised that we don't know what we are having and ask me why, how we can not know. We only have 3 weeks to go and for us it hasn't been bad at all. Seems it has been such turmoil to others, LOL. Ridiculous. It just adds to my excitement!

DH and I did not intend on finding out but it was obvious at the sono so we do know. There are alot of people that were giving us grief when we stated we were going to wait. It was annoying.
