Anyone else getting overwhelmed with Facebook?
Everyday I get a million requests for different applications - I just wanted to go on to keep in touch with friends - I had fun at first with some of them, but now its getting out of control!!!!
Anyone else????

yeah, I am. I don't "get" a lot of the things going on. I'm like, "why are you poking me?". It's annoying. I'm more of a Myspace kind of girl.

I only joined Facebook to get in touch with an old college roomate. Never did MySpace and I dont plan on it. I can see how it can become a little too consuming for people. Not my thing.

I feel the SAME EXACT WAY!!! I'm not so much overwhelmed, but its more annoying. I thought all the applications were fun at first. But now, they are beyond ridiculous. I always tell people to stop sending me that crapola. And it's the same people over and over and over.

Facebook is too much for me. I am really not a fan. MySpace is much more user friendly.

All I use it for is commenting to friends and finding friends. I never put any of those applications on. I think they are dumb.
I get the update several times a day that my sister has added applications. Her page is a complete mess. I can imagine what's that doing to her laptop. She'll probably call DH to fix it for her.

All the invitations for quizzes and applications and everything were getting annoying. I just stopped doing them completely and now I get them a lot less (I guess my friends got the idea that I wasn't interested).

I admit I am guilty of passing them along. I've since stopped, because I got tired of doing a cute quiz, only to learn that I need to send it to 20 people to get my answers!  Now I just click ignore if I don't feel like doing it. Some I still do!

Its really too much, in fact it gives me a headache. I just dont get it! I like to go on there to keep in touch with friends but thats it. I prefer MySpace.

Its getting to be too much. I dont care which Flintstones character I am most like. A girl in one of my classes brings her laptop, and spends 90% of the class on Facebook. I dont get it.

I waste too much time on there with the applications. I ignore 75% of requests, and try not to send invitations to people who I know don't like to add them. I enjoy it though.

I signed up at the request of a friend but I have no idea how to view someone's profile.
Does someone have to be your friend in order to see their profile?
