Anyone else have???
a low lying placenta????
Basically the placenta is underneath the baby..meaning that when I give birth that it would have to come out before him (which cant be done) so I might need a c-section...
However the DR said MOST of the time the placenta will move once the baby gets bigger... so I just have to take easy for awhile, and as long as I have no bleeding there is no need to worry now...
Anyone else know anything about this???
The DR didnt seem to worried... so Im not freaking out.... not yet at least lol...

Re: Anyone else have???
I did. It was detected at my Level II. The doc explained that at 30-32 weeks he would do another sono. The placenta doesn't move, but the growing uterus tends to shift it as it grows. Mine did shift and I was cleared for a normal delivery. I did end up having a c/s though but that's because he was breech! SO, yes, don't worry!

Re: Anyone else have???
I do. My doctor is hoping it moves but if not i will be having a c-section. It is normal so i have heard and most of the time they do move. I am hoping it does. Is yours low lying or do you have full coverage. I had placenta privia that is when it is completely over your cervics and now it has shifted so it is low lying i am just hoping it continues to shift. Best of luck. Any questions feel free to FM me.

Re: Anyone else have???
Yea...mine is low lying... but the DR kinda made me a little paranoid about the whole thing...
Thanks though...at first when I got no responces I was like....maybe its not as common as he made it sound...
I feel better now!
