Anyone else have a child that HATES taking a bath?
Seriously...it is torture! I have never heard screams like this before. Although I have to say tonight went a little better. She only cried about half the time she was in the tub.

my babies hated baths in the beginning and now they love them. i actually found that it was better when i made the water a little warmer than what the hospital suggested.
i know it's stressful to hear them cry like that, but it will get better.

DS hated baths when I used the hard plastic type. But once I switched to the big tub he loves them!!!!

My DD actually loves her bath, BUT grandma found once she used the tub in the sink w/o putting a towel on the bottom & DD screamed her head off...or try putting a warm washcloth on her/his chest to keep her a bit warmer.

Yes, for almost 6 months. She only started to like it, then love it when she could sit up. That is why I gave my mother her infant tub so she could give her baths. It was too stressful for me to do with the screaming!

DS would scream until he was about 2 or 3 months.
Now, he loves the pool and he loves taking a bath.
She will probably, eventually, get over it.

How old is she? DS hated the first bath I gave him - and that's because he was in the newborn sling (which he wasn't really in the water at all)
Now he loves bathtime!

my DD loves playing in the bath.... but hates having her hair washed.. and she has SO MUCH of it
