Anyone else have(had) a hyper and chatty infant?
OMG Riley is a lunatic! It's freaking adorable though. My friend was over last week with her baby, (they're both 3 months old) and she said she has never seen a baby talk as much as mine! Riley babbles aaaalll day long, it's so precious. She seems very social and loves to communicate.
I'm convinced if she could walk on her own she'd be running laps around the house! She kicks around like mad and squeals and babbles with glee! I think this is one of the reasons why she can't get to sleep on her own- she's just too hyper!! The second you put her on her back she gets all goofy!
Think she's the perfect candidate for a jumperoo? I never registered for one.
So...anyone else? Did your baby just mellow out eventually or is this typical? She cracks me up!

Tristan is very chatty, although mostly when we're home on our own. When we're out, he's quieter and seems to just take everything in. It's a bit frustrating though because just when I want him to talk and show off a bit, he clams up!

My son was just like that and I can tell you that it does not change. He is 20 months and he talks from the moment his eyes open to the moment he falls asleep. This morning he woke up, I heard him roll over and he started singing twinkle twinkle little star, then Bingo and the he was standing in his crib yelling Mommy Hello until we got him.

Emerson was a chatty pants back then too and loved to play and socialize and at 1 year old.........nothing has changed. She's the ultimate social butterfly and chatterbox!!

In my experience it doesn't change. DD was a babbler and she talks to everyone now. It takes her a bit to warm up but ince she feels comfortable, there is no keeping her quiet.

My DD was soooooooo chatty from the moment she popped out of the womb I have a video of her at 2 weeks old "talking" to a quilt we had hanging on the wall over her changing table. To this day, she's still incredibly chatty!

My DD has always been like this also. She is now 8 months, but I'm a blabbermouth too so...
I have a feeling that DD and I will be having many long detailed conversations together. My poor DH!!! As of now, I always tell DD everything I am doing step by step. I never shut up!

Tara you HAVE to get a Jumperoo! She would absolutely LOVE it! My DD is in her Jumperoo right now and she's bouncing all over the place and smiling and laughing. It's the greatest!! She's been in it for over 45 minutes already just having a ball. Riley would probably really enjoy one.

Re: Anyone else have(had) a hyper and chatty infant?
Darnit, why didn't I register for it? I have the exersaucer...ugh we don't have the money for a jumperoo these days. Unless it's one of her xmas gifts...

Re: Anyone else have(had) a hyper and chatty infant?
could be a good xmas gift... she's still too young for it at 3 months. I didn't put Samantha in the jumperoo until 5 months.

Re: Anyone else have(had) a hyper and chatty infant?
I never got Emme the jumperoo and I didn't miss it. I felt like it was another giant thing to find a home for amongst all the other baby gear. She had the exersaucer and bounced up and down in that when she played and seemed happy and content.
