Anyone else having REALLY bad swelling of the feet/legs?

I've noticed since yesterday my legs/feet (especially the left side) have been getting EXTREMELY swollen! It's very noticeable and although I try and keep my feet up while at work and walk around as often as I can, it doesn't seem to be helping. I had originally told my doctor about it and he said it was normal...but I'm beginning to worry. Sure as heck doesn't LOOK normal!!!!!

Anyone else having the same problem?

I am! My feet are AWFUL ... my legs too, but my feet are more obvious. This heat is just terrible for us. As long as nothing else is overly swollen (like your face), I believe it's considered normal.

My feet/ankles, toes & lower legs are swollen; dr. said mainly the heat has a lot to do w/ it; keep my feet up esp. at night & drink MEGA fluids.

I am having really bad swelling as well. My doctor put me on bedrest about 2 weeks at 30w 4d becasue of my swelling. Just keep your legs elevated and stay in the AC.

Mine swells more on the right - the doctor said it has something to do with the uterus tilting towards the right. Mine was okay yesterday - but today it has ballooned because it was so hot.

My ankles, feet and hands are all very badly swollen. I spoke with my dr at my 37 weeks appt yesterday - he said...

For me it is totally normal. My blood pressure has been really good and no protein in my urine - so he is not concerned that it is from preclampsia. He recommended that I - try to limit my food that I don't prepare myself (to limit my salt intake), drink more fluids, stay in air conditioning - heat will make you swell more, and to not just put your feet up - he said 24-36 hours of laying on your side will greatly reduce your fluid - he said you will urinate more but it might bring down the fluid level. Can't hurt to give them a shot right?
