Thankfully not anything serious. When I brush my teeth my gums bleed and when I brush my tongue I gag like no own's business. It scares the heck out of DH!!

I never had any serious issues with my teeth, just a few cavities here and there. After DS I have needed 2 root canals. Chat Icon Chat Icon

I did with my first pregnancy terrible!!
Had to have 2 root canals. Pregnancy killed my teeth first time around. This 2nd pregnancy only had to have one root canal. Totally feel your pain!

The nutritionist at my obgyn warned me that you need to get at least 1,200 mg of calcium a day, otherwise, the baby will take it from your teeth! Chat Icon

B/c of this, many pregnant women have teeth issues during pregnancy.

Re: Anyone else having teeth issues??

Yep, I was told I had pregnancy gingivitis. So I've been flossing, brushing and using mouthwash like a maniac, almost too much and not sure if it's my imagination, but my gums look much better and hardly bleed. It's annoying because they say the hormones do this and sometimes even with all the care, it doesn't help. I plan on going for another cleaning at the end of the summer even though I'll have to pay for it out of pocket since it's less than 6 months since my last one.
