Anyone else having trouble reading new books after Twilight series?
I cant seem to get into any new books after reading the Twilight series. I find myself reading and thinking about Bella and Edward and how much I would rather be reading about them again. I keep reading through parts of Breaking Dawn over and over b/c I'm not ready to put this series away.

I was the same way after I read them for the first time. Everything else I read was so uninteresting to me and I just kept going back and reading the series over and over again. Eventually I was able to move on, but it is still my favorite series.

I am having the same problem. I am just going to re-read until I get bored
I am trying to re-read New Moon but because I can't really deal with the Jacob thing, feel as though I may need to skip to the part when Alice comes back into the picture. (I know, I am bad)

Re: Anyone else having trouble reading new books after Twilight series?
I guess you could try Charlaine Harris' books. She has the "Southern Vampire" series. It was written for adults. It has humor, romance and mystery. I think she's up to 7 or 8 books in the series. It might make for a neat contrast to the Twilight books. btw--the "Southern Vampire" series is being made into an HBO show starring Anna Paquin

I don't blame you. I felt like I was waiting for Edward when I read it the first time.

I'm feeling the same way. Any suggestions on what to read next? I don't really want to read the Southern Vampire series...
