Anyone else mostly breastfeed but then supplement w/ formula?
We have been doing that because DD lost too much weight... so I've breastfeed during the day, and top her off with formula if she's still hungry and then she gets two bottles of formula at night, and I pump. Anyone else doing this?

I did this for the first 2 months and it worked out well

Jeremy is 8 months old. I nurse him in the morning and at night and he gets formula during the day. He is a happy chubby little boy

I pumped and did formula for the first three months, then went straight to formula. The transition for my son went really well, same with going to milk too.

I do now, just b/c I don't seem to pump enough while at work to keep up with her! I usually end up giving daycare 1 bottle of formula every day, and the rest is bf/pumped for her.. She seems fine with it. And I use formula with her cereal now - i'd rather save the bm for daycare bottles...
