Anyone else start milk early?
DS is over 11 months old. To be exact he is 11 months and 4 days old. :)
I'm just almost done with my next step lipil container and I've been giving him milk in his bottle gradually 3 wks ago I started 6oz formula 2 oz milk, now he gets half formula and half milk. He seems to be fine with it. Would you switch or did anyone switch to milk early? Thank you!

i checked with my ped and since he has no dairy allergies that we know of, they said it was fine to start the switch at 11 months.

Dd started milk at 10 months. She began to refuse to take formula, so our pediatrician told us to start her on milk if she wouldn't take formula. She was switched completely at 10 months with no problem. We didn't even mix it with the formula because she wanted nothing to do with the formula. I think you are fine to switch him over now. He's almost 1 anyway.

My ped told me to start after my 10 month appt. I waited until we ran out of formula so DS was 10.5 mos.

I just let them try it here and there in their sippy.

I started at 11 months with DD, I ran out of formula and decided to give it a try and never went back.

I started DS #2 on Milk at 11 months. The pediatrician actually said to do it.

my ped told us we could start at his 8 month appointment, though i waited until 9 months because i didnt want any issues while away on vacation

I just wene to the ped. today actually, DS is 10 1/2 months. He said to try a few weeks before he turned 1 was fine.
