Anyone else waiting for their Verizon Droid to be shipped?
I ordered mine on the 10th and was told it would be here on the 27th. I called to get shipping info and now it won't be here until the 9th. 
Thankfully my old phone has stopped freezing up otherwise I'd really be going bonkers.

Me.....I ordered mine on the 11th - the girl at the verizon store told me it would be less than two weeks......
called for a ship date since my phone is dead.....looks like it is a month from my order date.......grrr...

Yes, I'm getting the Incredible. I heard the Eris battery life was poor.

WOW! I preordered and had mine the day it came out
I ordered mine about a week after you got yours(I think) the day after Mother's Day and got it the 27th of May.
Just think of it as the Verizon's answer to the Iphone in popularity!
I'm talking about the Droid Incredible by HTC brand not the one that was previously sold by Verizon.
I hope you all get yours quickly! Mine came about 6 days before they said it would.

i just bought my incredible in the local verizon store. they had tons in stock. only online it was backordered and the store gave me the online price
i'm actually hating it. it's great for internet but s ucks as a phone. i'm so disappointed in it but at least i only spent $100. i can't wait to get a new one in a year

Did you get the Incredible by HTC? It's a brand new phone that just came out not too long ago. It's a improvement over the motorola verison sold prior to it's release.
I'm sorry you don't like your new phone. I lived with a phone I hated for 2 years before I chose my new one.

yes, it's the brand new one! the phone is such a PI TA. it doesn't always answer when i drag down, dials other people if i don't hit it exactly right, does 3 way calling if i hit the screen while i'm on a call, etc. my DH also has it and has the same problems. there are other things too that are a pain. i didn't notice it until i used it for a few weeks--then all the bugs became apparent

i have the same phone and i LOVE IT! not a single dropped call yet, no bugs, no overly sensitive screen. IMO, its the best phone (both call-wise and internet) I've ever had.

No local stores had them so I had to order mine. According to Verizon, it is being back ordered from the MFG. They have none in stock.
