Anyone else work with a phone slammer.
And does it annoy you as much as it does me
A guy I work with does this all the time. EVERY phone call can not make him that pi$$ed off that he needs to slam down his phone.

when i am in a bad mood i will slam the phone down.. or if the person pisses me off..lol 
but i do have someone that types SO LOUDLY!! i dont understand it!! it drives me nuts!

I usually slam the phone down after speaking with my boss.
On rare occassions I will slam it down then pick it up and slam it again for good measure!

I am a keyboard slammer. I feel bad for people who work near me. I can't type quietly but I try. The letters wear off my keys and some people cannot use my computer because of that.
I used to be a door slammer and I did not even realize it. The guy in the office next to me had to tell me that every time I closed my door, his diplomas on the wall would shake and become uneven. I am all for telling people when they do things like this because I had no idea about the door and that was an easy habit to break.

I use to be a phone slammer, but no more since i got a new job. The girl in the office does slam the phone and it is a little scary.

No, but for a very short period of time I was helping out another office (Hi charon54!) and i was working with someone who would come in every morning in the worst mood and it wuld take her like 4 hours to become normal..well anything the point of the story is that my desk was right bt the door and every day she'd come in and SLAM the door, and it was right in my face. It really made me feel insulted.
I'd never slam the phone intentionally..people on the other end can hear it. Sometimes I like toss the receiver at the base in a dismissive gesture when hanging up, then I curse for a few minutes..lol

i work with a stapler slammer!!! its so fustrating, she can't just use it like a human! i finally said something last week, and she's like oh i didn't even notice... he lasted 2 days without slamming it and now shes back to it!!!
I asked for help on this topic on LIW and someone suggested stapling her tounge to the desk another one was make the stappler dissapear, or wrap it with like a million rubberbands.
I know how fustrating it is. The stapler bounces all over the place and then she has to do it again cause shes slamming it so hard down, the staples just crush and don't go through People have no respect for co-workers
