anyone else...pregnancy depression

I don't know what it is...hormones or what but for the past few days I can not stand my dh! I have no desired to do anything! I just wanna eat crap! I sick and tired of being home all day long and not getting anything done! My house is a mess and I just want to crawl into bed and cry...Im not tired but I just want to sleep the day away becouse I do want to be home alone anymore....this just stinks!! If I do to much I have contraction, I cant get comfortable and when I go to get up I feel like Im crushing my poor babys head and it hurts!

I feel the same way....you are sooo not alone. I have been out of work for a while and bored and lonely all day. I live 8 hrs away from all friends and family and have no one here but dh, and whenever we spend ore than 4 hrs together, we fight.

First many s. If you feel this way, I would bring it up to the obgyn. It is great that you come here for support. Laundry, cleaning, all of that can be put on hold. Have DH do it or send it out. What makes you feel good? Will a mani/pedi do it? I know the bad weather can also play a part in things too. I hope you are able to get out of the funk you are in.

I have 15 days left, and just stopped going into the office this week. I know being home is much more lonely and depressing than when i was working, though going to the office was physically exhausting!

i just wanted to give you some

ive been on bedrest since week 25. and spend everyday all day alone. we live with my parents and they are constatnly trying to help but it makes me feel completly incompetent! DH works lot of hours to make up for me not working so i can not blame him.but when he is home hes doing house work to keep this place clean so he quickly becomes nasty and cranky (rightfuly so)

Its so hard to wake up and HAVE to spend the day in bed. i sat up in bed yesterday to fold laundry and the contractions got so bad and uncomfortable that i was sitting here crying folding laundry! no one seems to understand and when i complain they tell me"its all for a greater good" and while to completely agree with them i feel like my independence and pride is GONE.. im praying so hard that i feel myself againa nd happy once this little girl arrives!!

im so there with you!! please please please if you need to vent, chat, cry whatever im always on here this place has been my sanity! you are not alone!

I feel the same way. I thought it would get better in the 2nd Tri but it hasn't. I am having a very hard time emotionally this pregnancy. But just know that you are NOT alone...and it is NOT your fault you feel this way. We can't control our hormones. If you ever want to chat feel free to FM. It is nice sometimes to talk to other women who are in the same boat...that's why LIF is the best!!

I am so thankful I have you guys just having one of those days/weeks! Not that I want anyone else down in the dumps but it is nice to know Im not alone...

i just saw that your due date is only one day apart from mine... and i have had the SAME thing for the past few days.

extremely moody, very depressed at times, crying at the drop of a hat, and hating everyone i love most (DH, my mom). i've been snapping at them so much, and even though they understand it makes me so sad

i've also noticed some new physical symptoms with this... very first-trimesterish stuff. nausea, food aversions, and very sore bbs. have you?

luckily today things are a bit better, so i'm hoping this is on its way to lifting. hope you get through it too, FM if you need to talk!

I wouldn't say I'm depressed. I would say that I want to strangle my DH! So, that in itself is kind of depressing!

Kerry sounds like you and your dh are having a really bad week Men are not always great at expressing themselves unless its with anger.

my only advice is do what you feel is right and

My dh can get into his moods too and he knows it

The rest of my night...
DH called me when he was on his way home and he heard it in my voice that I was just in a mood so the first thing he said when he walks in is oh is this how its going to be cause Im not in the mood to argue and he went to bed!

I guess it is better then fighting...I just wish it was more hey babe Im sorry so late again..I know your home alone all day sorry you had to eat dinner by yourself again...how are you feeling...any more contractions? oh really rectal pain, damn hemorroids really what else can you possible go through...wow babe just remember in the end we will have a beautiful child and you made that possible thank you!....oh damn then I woke up!

oh and just to add...last night...
me: oh man look Im getting stretch marks on the side of my hips
dh: what did you stop putting cream on
what he should have said: oh baby your are and aways will be beautiful thank you for sacrificing you body, mind and career...is there anything I can do

Usually I just ignore him and go on with things. I guess with the pregnancy hormones, I am having a harder time dealing with things. My friends tell me that men don't think any more when we are pregnant. They just blab what ever they want. They should have a class for men for when their wives are pregnant. Some of them are really clueless....Only 20 more weeks left for me...YAY...
